Fortran Compiler Usage
I was curious if anyone knew of a rough breakdown (perhaps anecdotal) of the % uses of different Fortran compilers? I know there is the GFortran compiler that is part of GCC and I believe I have access to the Intel Fortran compiler at work. I also noticed 'Simply Fortran' which looks really nice for Windows. Besides the breakdown, does anyone use Simply Fortran? I figured some scientists would have written a review or something. Windows has a decent native C++ compiler, but frankly I can read Fortran much easier and it is optimized for what I need (fast matrix and numerical solutions) right out of the box.
